This session will help participants…
- learn about the benefits of group interventions in supporting peer relationships;
- learn about an evidence-based, small-group positive psychology intervention for middle school students;
- understand student ratings of social support provided by person pre/post, 6-month, and 1-year follow-up assessments; and
- learn about students’ perceived social benefits of participating in a group intervention.
Description
Participants will learn about a positive psychology group intervention that has secondary benefits of improving peer relationship satisfaction for middle school students, which contributes to global life satisfaction appraisals.
