This session will help participants…

  1. discuss implications of consistent patterns found among verbal comprehension index score components;
  2. discuss significance and relevance of patterns of differences between concrete task (e.g., vocabulary subtests) and more abstract relational tasks (e.g., analogy or similarity subtests); and
  3. discuss the application of findings to reading comprehension differences noted in the literature regarding autistic females.

Description

This study examined Verbal Comprehension (VCI) score profiles from the National Database for Autism Research. Spread within verbal indexes was analyzed by gender and FSIQ to determine any meaningful patterns.
