Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. implement effective Tier 2 intervention targeting social–emotional learning competencies in children;
  2. demonstrate the effectiveness of targeted, explicit, skill instruction through short-term intervention in an MTSS framework; and
  3. analyze the use of a best practices approach to an expanded social–emotional learning curriculum using universal screening tools and a pre/posttest model.
