This session will help participants…

  1. highlight how school psychologists can support systems change work in K–12 schools district-wide to address inequities;
  2. share a research-based example of culturally sustaining social–emotional programming for Black and Latino male youth;
  3. provide a case study of how to evaluate social–emotional programming from a culturally sustaining lens.

Description

Follow a 5-year longitudinal study about how a school district created a course for Black and Latino male youth to address the educational debt for children of color.
