  1. learn about the different types of trauma youth may experience;
  2. learn how different types of trauma may impact perceptions of social support from parents, teachers, close friends, classmates, and school; and
  3. understand how perceptions of social support may impact the relation between experiencing and witnessing trauma and social–emotional problems.

Description

How do adolescent who experienced trauma perceive social support? This presentation will discuss the different types of social support on traumatized adolescents and how this may impact social–emotional problems.
