  1. gain a comprehensive understanding of the retention factors influencing school-based mental health (SBMH) providers, specifically school psychologists;
  2. identify and analyze the systems-level factors that contribute to school psychologist retention at the state, institution of higher education, and district levels;
  3. explore the similarities and differences in relation to retention factors between SBMH professions, such as school counselors, school psychologists, and school social workers; and
  4. investigate geographical variations in retention factors for SBMH professions to identify region-specific challenges and opportunities for improving retention rates.
