- gain skills for meeting the unique needs of emergent bilingual students as it relates to the role of a school psychologist, which includes consultation, assessment, intervention, and advocacy.
- learn about the impact of discriminatory policies on emergent bilingual youth and their families.
Description
Presenting qualitative data from students, parents, and teachers, participants will learn about the educational needs and experiences of emergent bilingual students in the K–12 setting. Practice implications will be discussed.
