Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. gain an understanding of solidarity through research supported insights on the concept.
  2. create a deeper understanding of the importance and significance of unity among WOC in school psychology.
  3. gain insights into the intersectional identities of the WOC school psychology community, recognizing the interconnectedness of various forms of experience.
  4. support attendees’ engagement in uplifting the most marginalized voices and empowering colleagues, collaborators, and practitioners by showcasing successful examples of solidarity and collective action.

Description

This conversation invites women of color (WOC) to join one another in an explorative and research-informed dialogue around solidarity in the field of school psychology.
