- understand how substance and alcohol abuse can be treated in schools effectively;
- identify ways to help systems move towards restorative practices;
- improve equitable access to substance and alcohol abuse services; and
- understand the importance of reentry support for students disciplined for substance and alcohol abuse.
Description
The program evaluation describes the impact of employing substance and alcohol use counselors in high schools. Findings included increased equity, access, and movement towards restorative practices.
