This session will help participants…

  1. explain educational involvement perspectives from families of school age youth;
  2. identify three family involvement behaviors and how they lead to greater satisfaction from families;
  3. advocate for the involvement of families in family–school partnerships to increase perception of school satisfaction; and
  4. explain aspects of postpandemic family–school partnerships and how vital they are for student development.

Description

Families play an essential role in promoting student success by partnering with school personnel. Learn about family perceptions on their involvement behaviors and how that relates to overall school satisfaction.
