This session will help participants…

  1. learn about the ways in which bullying may impact other students who are not directly involved in the bullying scenario;
  2. learn about environmental variables such as peer relationships and how they may impact students’ reactions to bullying; and
  3. learn about the ways that bullying and environmental variables impact students differently.

Description

This presentation examines the association between witnessing bullying and internalizing symptoms in middle school students. Peer relationship quality will also be examined to see if it serves a protective function.
