  1. implement Merrell’s Strong Start in their schools with teachers as interventionist;
  2. recognize the importance of universal supports at the classroom level to improve social–emotional and behavioral difficulties; and
  3. explore the effectiveness of Merrell’s Strong Start curriculum on preschool students’ social and emotional behaviors.

Description

This study evaluated the effectiveness and social validity of Merrell’s Strong Start curriculum for class-wide use. The researchers will describe the outcomes of the study and implications for practice.
