This session will help participants…

  1. learn how phases of skill development correspond with elements of instruction;
  2. learn to conceptualize interventions in terms of their incorporation of common elements of instruction; and
  3. match instructional activities or interventions to students' instructional needs.

Description

Linking data to intervention remains a barrier to effective implementation of MTSS. We present a taxonomy of common instructional elements to aid data-based decision making, and promote instructional match.
