  1. understand how a student’s perceived connectedness to their teachers impacts their intrinsic motivation;
  2. identify what elements of teacher–student relationships are correlated with differences in intrinsic motivation amongst students; and
  3. advocating for deeper/connected student adult/teacher relationships at high school level.

Description

This study examined how high students perceptions of their quality of relationships with school adults impacts their amount of intrinsic motivation across all subject areas.
