Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. learn the scope and depth of the problem associated with noncomprehensive sexual education for sexual minority youth;
  2. consume the literature associated with research on addressing the unique needs of sexual-minority youth with disabilities; and
  3. acquire knowledge of applicable practices grounded in the literature to support sexual-minority youth with disabilities.

Description

A review of the literature was conducted to illuminate existing sexuality education practices for LGBTQ+ youth with disabilities. Attendees will receive practice relevant research information.
