  1. understand the challenges that Mexican and Central American student refugees face when beginning school in the United States;
  2. learn culturally appropriate, evidence-based practices that support student refugees from Mexico and Central America; and
  3. leave with a list of resources that can be used upon returning to their place of practice to best support student refugees from Mexico and Central America.
