Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. identify key components of the NASP Exposure Project and how to utilize them to build interest in the profession of school psychology, particularly in individuals from racially and ethnically minoritized (REM) and other underrepresented groups.
  2. design strategies to utilize the NASP Exposure Project in a variety of settings and with specific audiences.
  3. learn about the Future School Psychologist Club model and how to include graduate students in developing this organization at the university or state level.
  4. identify strategies for successfully integrating shortage-related initiatives within their respective state school psychology organizations to establish a leadership pipeline for the graduate students who facilitate them.
