This session will help participants…

  1. understand different types of culturally responsive interventions that can support positive learning outcomes for ELLs;
  2. promote inclusivity for ELLs and their stakeholders in early intervention areas of reading, math, and writing by identifying disparities in research and call to action to increase research for effective interventions used to teach ELLs; and
  3. identify ways practitioners can support ELLs in their educational journeys as they transition to general education classroom learning.
