Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. be able to identify anxiety disorders in youth;
  2. recognize the developmental, cognitive, familial, and cultural diversity forces that affect anxiety disorders in youth; and
  3. be aware of multiple measures that can be used to assess anxiety in youth.

Description

This workshop will describe anxiety and focus on measures (structured diagnostic interviews to three-item questionnaires) and their psychometric properties. Measures that are useful for the evaluation of treatment will be considered.
