This session will help participants…

  1. better engage in treatment of anxiety in youth across ages 7–17, gender, and ethnic diversity;
  2. recognize and be able to implement strategies and empirically supported intervention skills for youth suffering from anxiety; and

Description

This workshop will address components of successful intervention (e.g., self-talk, problem solving, exposure tasks). Case examples, illustrations of intervention strategies, and role-play activities will constitute the bulk of the workshop.
