Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. learn important content for Tier 2 social–emotional interventions including behavioral routines for stress, social support, and goal setting;
  2. gain exposure to an example intervention appropriate and adaptable for use with learners from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds; and
  3. learn principles for effective and accessible instruction of Tier 2 social–emotional interventions applicable.

Description

Participants will learn to implement effective Tier 2 social–emotional interventions that focus on reducing stress, building social support, and setting goals through use of behavioral routines and effective instructional principles.
