NCSP Application (non-NASP-Approved/Accredited Programs)

Step 7: Portfolio

Before uploading supporting materials, please review the video and other application resources including submission rubrics and to guide your submission.

Resubmissions must only submit documentation addressing aspects that had not been met during previous submissions. Standards and domains judged to have been adequately addressed can be skipped. If the problem-solving report was previously judged as not met, a new complete problem-solving report must be submitted.

NASP Standards require that school psychology candidates demonstrate competency in each of the following domains of professional practice. Competency requires evidence of both knowledge and skills.

  1. Data-Based Decision Making
  2. Consultation and Collaboration
  3. Academic Interventions and Instructional Support
  4. Mental and Behavioral Health Services and Interventions
  5. School-Wide Practices to Promote Learning
  6. Services to Promote Safe and Supportive Schools
  7. Family, School, and Community Collaboration
  8. Equitable Practices for Diverse Student Populations
  9. Research and Evidence-Based Practice
  10. Legal, Ethical, and Professional Practice

The portfolio that you are submitting provides work samples/products that demonstrate professional competency in school psychology.
