Kizzy Albritton, NCSP

Kizzy Albritton, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of School Psychology at Kent State University. Her research and scholarly interests include identifying ways to expand the role of school psychologists in early childhood settings and examining ways to improve the academic, behavioral, and social–emotional outcomes for racial and ethnic minority preschool children. She began her educational career as an elementary and middle school special education teacher. She earned her PhD in school psychology from Georgia State University. She also holds a Master of Education degree in Behavior and Learning Disabilities from Georgia State University.
