Janine M. Jones, PhD, is an associate professor and director of the school psychology program at the University of Washington. As a licensed psychologist, she has worked with multicultural children and families in schools, clinics, community mental health settings, and private practice. As an educator, she prepares school psychology students to apply a culturally responsive lens to their practice in schools. Her research, teaching, and clinical expertise all address providing culturally responsive interventions in school psychology practice. She authored and edited The Psychology of Multiculturalism in the Schools: A Primer for Practice, Training, and Research.
