Lata K. McGinn, PhD, is a tenured Professor of Psychology and Director of the Clinical Program at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University and is the cofounder of Cognitive and Behavioral Consultants (CBC), an evidence-based clinical, research, and training center in New York. She specializes in CBT for the full range of stress, anxiety, and depressive disorders, and her extensive publications span peer-reviewed journal articles, chapters, and coauthored books, Treatment of Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder and Treatment Plans and Interventions for Depression and Anxiety Disorders. Dr. McGinn is an Academy of CBT certified trainer, a Beck Scholar, and an ABCT fellow. She is the associate editor of the peer-reviewed journal Cognitive Therapy and Research, and she is on the editorial board of several other peer-reviewed journals. Dr. McGinn serves on the Board of the World Confederation of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies and is a past president of the Academy of CBT (A-CBT) and the International Association for Cognitive Psychotherapy (IACP).
