Antoinette Miranda, PhD, NCSP, is professor and director of the school psychology program at The Ohio State University and holds the Casto Professorship of Inter-professional Education. Her research is focused on issues of diversity, such as developing effective interventions with at-risk children in urban settings, consultation services in urban settings, and the development of racial identity and its relationship to academic achievement. She presents at the local, state, and national levels on topics related to intervening with urban populations, diversity, urban issues, and racial identity. She was recently elected to the State Board of Education in Ohio.
