Robert Foltz, PsyD

Robert Foltz, PsyD, is a clinical psychologistand associate professor teaching specializing in evidence-based treatments foryouth, psychological disorders across the lifespan, pediatricpsychopharmacology, and strength-based strategies for troubled youth. He is theDirector of Child Welfare for Multi-Dimensional Education, Inc., helping todevelop the robust Resource Library for the VitalChild Outcomes MonitoringSystem. He serves on advisory committees for the Illinois Department of Childrenand Family Services (DCFS). Prior to entering academia, Dr. Foltz worked as aclinician and administrator in residential treatment centers for over 15 years.He has many publications and professional presentations related toevidence-based treatments for youth, the use of psychotropic medications inteens, and diagnostic challenges in troubled youth. Dr. Foltz also maintains aprivate practice in the Chicago area.
