Anthony M. Adamowski, MEd, completed his undergraduate and graduate coursework at Loyola University of Chicago. He has been employed with Chicago Public Schools as a practicing school psychologist since 1991. He served as Senior School Psychology Manager for a year and has been Director of Related Service Providers for the last 3 years. Anthony has twice served as President of the Illinois School Psychologists Association, served two terms a NASP Delegate from Illinois, two terms on the NASP Executive Council, and has served as either chair or cochair of the NASP Summer Conference since their inception. His has been the recipient of the 2019 NASP Government and Professional Relations (GPR) Outstanding Advocate Award and 2016 Loyola University of Chicago Distinguished Alumni Award. Anthony is the chapter author of “School Psychology in an Urban Setting” in M. Burns (Ed.), School Psychology: Controversies and Current Practice. Oxford, UK: Oxford Press (In press).
