Description
Teaching individuals with disabilities basic literacy skills, like sight word recognition, is imperative. Therefore, this poster will discuss the use of “Model, Lead, and Test” to improve the sight word recognition skills of an individual with deficits in language comprehension and verbal expression. Results from the study indicate promising findings. Limitations and implications for future research will also be included.
